What does Slide Image Extractor do?
Slide Image Extractor lets you extract images from your Google Slides™ presentations in their original resolution and save them to a Google Drive™ folder.
Is Slide Image Extractor free?
Yes! This add-on is completely free to use.
How do I use Slide Image Extractor?
- Open your Google Slides presentation.
- Go to Extensions → Slide Image Extractor to open the sidebar.
- Paste the Google Drive™ folder URL where you want to save images.
- (Optional) Enter a slide number if you want images from just one slide.
- Click Extract Images.
Your images will be saved to the folder in their original resolution.
Can I extract images from all slides at once?
Yes. If you leave the Slide Number field empty, the add-on will extract images from all slides in the presentation.
Does this add-on reduce the image quality?
No. Images are extracted in their original resolution as they exist in your Google Slides.
Where do my images get saved?
Your extracted images are saved in the Google Drive™ folder you specify in the sidebar.
Is it safe to use? Do you store any of my data?
Your files are processed within your own Google account using Google Apps Script. No files or personal data are stored or shared outside your account.
I get an error or nothing happens when I click "Extract Images." What should I do?
- Double-check that you’ve entered the correct Google Drive™ folder URL and that you have edit access to that folder.
- Make sure you have selected the correct Google account (if you have more than one).
- If the problem persists, try reloading Google Slides and the add-on, or contact support for assistance.
Can I extract images from shared presentations?
You can, as long as you have editing rights for the presentation and edit rights for the Google Drive™ folder you want to save to.
